Is it worth it to go back to school for a better track to a FAANG company? The division I’m currently in seems like there are no good opportunities, and I have the funds available to finish my undergraduate full time (Canada). I applied to Amazon before for a highly senior position and made it to final interview so I think I would have a better chance for a new grad type role.

Ugh I wanted to take my son to see a UFC match in person. Just so happens there is one in November at Madison Square Garden - great right! I knew the tickets would be expensive, was willing to pay $400 to $500 a ticket as long as they were decent. The cheapest ticket in the whole arena, basically top row so you can’t see crap, is $506 before you start with the fees!!! Am I wrong or is that just bananas???? California peeps. I have a feeling I failed FAR, which is my last exam, but my score isn’t released until May 11. Can I submit the reapplication with the CA Board of Accountancy to speed up the retake and NTS process in case I failed? Or do I need to get my exam score first? I need to pass by mid June, else my REG score expires, hence the rush to resubmit the re-application.

Is BEC doable in 2.5 weeks while working full time - 40 hours? I plan on dedicating 3 hours each weekday and 12 hours each weekend day. I most likely will also have a bit of time during working hours.

I’ve taken FAR a few times at this point. I got two 74s and this past one I got a 70. I felt like the last exam (which was a few weeks ago) was extremely harder than the other ones. Has anyone else noticed the exam getting extremely tough? Or do you think I just got a one off?

Taking FAR soon! Currently reviewing the book and wanted to see if y’all had any advice on what modules/sections to cover more then others? Been hearing Gov/NFP is a big one. Anyone care to share what the exam was like for them and what it mainly covered?

So Becker was supposed to charge me $600 to update for unlimited access since my account was due to expire in March. I called them in December to make payment. Now 8months later...they reach out to me saying they only charged $35. I just checked my bank statement and they are right but i don't have $600 sitting around...What do i do? Thoughts?

Are you aware of the CPA exam credit extension to 2021 for NY CPA candidates impacted by COVID19? It’s on a person-by-person basis and you need to request the extension. Has anyone tried doing this yet? Can anyone shine more light on this? The extension would really help me, but I’m not sure what more to tell them in my email than the fact that I couldn’t sit for the exams this Spring/Summer due to test centers closing in NYC.
