Haven’t practiced a single Sim for REG and test in 4 days...am I screwed?

I didn’t do any sims and passed REG on the first try with a 79 so it’s possible

like

Not at all! I didn’t do the sims when studying. I read them the very last day. I would recommend to PDF print or screenshot the completed Sim with explanation and print out so you can read before you go in. If you have an understanding of the material you’ll be able to apply it to the sims. Best of Luck!

Sims are nothing but accumulation of a few mcqs; you are good

I would at least look at them and get comfortable with the format. I would also at least review the Aicpa practice exam. They have sims and were very helpful.

Plus you get partial credit on Sims.

Any advice as to how to help my other-half (who has bouts of anxiety and depression) apply to jobs? He’s going through a particularly rough patch at the moment. We had a big chat the other day which was great! However, even if we agreed that I’m doing everything I can for him (his words) it has to come from him (which we both agreed). He’s having a real mental block (I think with writing cover letters mostly) he describes staring at the screen feeling incapable. Any suggestions?

I’ve been depressed for years now and this past week I lost a dog I’ve had for 15 years; he was one of the only bright spots in my life and I’ve just found it so hard to focus or motivate myself on anything after this. I genuinely feel like I’m at rock bottom, Idk if I’m crazy to feel that way bc of a dog but I used to be able to control this and put up a front but now my depression and anxiety are starting to leak into my work conversations completely unintentionally, I wish this would stop :(

"Everybody can be a leader" some say... "Leaders are nurtured not born" say others... True.

But... this is also true: "not everybody wants to be a leader" (whether they can or can't be). It is a fairly common practice in organizations with traditional career management structures for people to "be promoted" into leadership roles as the "end steps of the corporate ladder" that was climbed doing technical work. And, unfortunately, this doesn't work all the time
