I joined PwC around 5.5 months ago in a Manager profile, and recently I was informed that I have been placed on a PIP from 20th May to 20th June.
I wanted to understand how the PIP process generally works in PwC India for manager-level roles. Specifically:
How are employees evaluated during the PIP period?
What usually happens after the completion date?
Does HR discuss role change/internal movement options, or is it mostly separation-focused.

I’m trying to understand the process

Any one please help me choosing below:

1. Product based company with good pay for support role
2. Service based company with a bit less pay for developer role may be ( Currently I am working in a service based company for development role)

I received an offer from big 4 with 60% hike. My managers wants to retain and I asked them to match if you want me to be retained.
Now I got a call from GPM yesterday. He used harsh words like "being greedy" "selfish" etc and offered me 30% in the end.
I politely declined but he asked me to reconsider as he said "it would be unfair for the org for you to leave so soon."

Let me know a proper response.

Also what do you think of this behavior by GPM?
