How do you handle the next day after being up until 4am the night before on a deal? My other deal teams don’t know I was up so late, but obviously I’m going to be much slower in the morning. It sounds whiny to say “sorry for the delay I was up all night” when everyone else is also so busy...

Recent lateral junior associate in brand new practice where I'm the only associate. I'm probably going to bill 1,500 hours max this year due to being very slow and taking time off for a delayed honeymoon which I disclosed during my interview process. I joined CG on 27th July, the first project require me to work on documentation not related to my tech(networking) this I said no and went on bench.
The second project/client they tagged asking me to wrok on FTP L1 Monitoring and t-shoot.
Again this is not relevant to my exp(6 years in Network).

How to get released from this? the upper line is not in touch with me not they responding with update

What options do i have, what if I abscond?

Will they give me exp letter?
