Ok be honest, candidates. I really love this set of questions, I’ve been considering shifting my current interview style to these questions - I think they really give you an idea of who this person would be within the work setting. But the questions almost feel too deep for a recruiter to ask. What would you think if a recruiter took a different path and asked these questions instead of the usual ones?

Strategy& fish - i’m currently recruiting for org strategy. Ive talked to associates (in the healthcare practice) and theyve mentioned that it doesnt matter whether youre in corp strategy, org strategy, etc and that you’re pretty much pooled by industry when it comes to staffing.

I keep my Excel to match the format of the country i live in (UK). The format is defined by the instance of excel you have open, not by the file itself - so when a German opens my file, all “,” become “;” etc in what they see. It is admittedly super annoying when you’re helping someone on a laptop from a different country and none of your formulas work though
Yep I imagine it’s super confusing. I am glad our convention is the same as the accepted coding convention.
For slides I always match the client’s regional preference (same with spelling e.g., organization vs organisation). And when they don’t have one I ask the team to match mine :)
As a European I have never written 1.000,00 … ever.
German here, currently working with french colleagues. We write everything like it’s done in Germany. They write everything like they do it in France. Never had any issues with that.
Working together on the same slides? What would that be good for? So we are technical specialists working on a migration project - slides are just for explanation. Slides are not a deliverable itself.
