They responded back telling me that they’ll have an update for me the next week. Again I emailed them on Thursday asking if they have anything for me before the long weekend ( Good Friday & Easter). Is it common for Big 4 to hire from ordinary colleges? I’m genuinely curious since not a single partner that I’ve known comes from a Ivy League and almost all of them have a single degree. Culturally this is slightly odd for me since I come from a place where u needed to have pretty strong credentials to get hired and people at the top had them too, if not better. Wondering if this is just skewed view due to the practices I’m exposed to or is actually common in the big 4?
