Sadly many people have hate in their hearts. You change their minds over time by being a good Christian and being a good person.
If you really only said “God answered my prayers”, then wow.
But you can’t control how other people response.
It does depend on the person and everyone is different so would be a little tough to give an explaination.
I’d encourage you to continue to praise His name and give Him the glory as you wish!
This situation that needs *uncommon* wisdom. We live in an age when Christian faith will be shot down / pilloried, but we don’t see that happen to *others* sharing theirs, especially to their outspokenness during the yearly fasting. I’m no evangelist but I’d say stand up for what you believe and do it with love.
My suggestion is to reply saying that you’re sharing good news and people need Hope with uppercase.
- I’m no evangelist but you can tell any belligerent atheists that it takes a lot of faith to cling emptiness and hopelessness. Many atheists sometimes troll Christian videos on YT to quickly make themselves known.
- reiterate firmly that your post is to encourage and inspire others to not give up hope, that your God is a loving Father and really wants everyone to seek & find Him etc and that you’ll block or report any trolls
You got this in Christ 🔥
PS if you search Christian Concern on YT, you’ll see what I mean about the age we live in in the U.K.
It depends on other people of course. But I guess it’s more about showing people the fact that how faith transform you into a better person in this world, before introducing them to the doctrine part of our faith.
But if we are saying something good happen, do we just say it was luck or ourselves? Shouldn’t we say thanks to God or God answered my prayer?
