I would skip Accenture and go straight to industry personally. A director in f500 healthcare can likely beat comp as a SM at Accenture
For future reference OP, when you list your TC it should just include your base and bonus, not 401k match, rewards, awards, etc.
401k match can be included if it’s significant. E.g. 1.5% vs 6%. On a 160k salary that’s a difference of over 7k. Just my 2c
I would find an industry job that pays as good or better.
I wouldn’t give up SM at Deloitte for ACN (def not for 161k base). Maybe MD level, but you’re also shooting yourself in the foot bc you have no network will prob be comped on how well you sell deals. Industry is the better way to go. SM at acn is a landing spot though so you don’t have to move up or out, from what I’ve heard. However without a network, it’s gonna be rough.
For reference I know managers coming in at 170k base nowadays. SM from Deloitte should warrant close to 200k base
SM at Accenture is the toughest for an external hire by far. Success rate is really low, given lack of network and simply needing to get the hang of things. Would not recommend coming in with a minimal raise.
Agree. Just left after 3+ years after 20+ in industry. Very difficult to get the right network at Accenture starting at SM. Too much like the hunger games for me.

What’s the base?
Thanks for answering the question, smart people.
Agree, I would shoot for an MD level or else it’s just moving from 6 to half a dozen
