Random location but Mirabeau spa in Plymouth, MA is very lovely, I’d rate it 4 stars, and quite affordable. The max a room is is about $500/night but you can get like a $350 room rate depending on dates. and you can get great spa treatments for under $200 each. Restaurant on site is also lovely. Not much to do other than spa and dining though if I recall and the grounds aren’t super big so you’d really have to want to chill out or you’d have to maybe go to boston for a day. Plymouth itself is cute to walk around too but nothing too exciting

The Stephanie Inn in Cannon Beach, OR was wonderful when we visited. Sleepy beach town without much to do besides spa, wine tasting, or beach.
CIVANA in AZ was good value for the money and wellness options offered!
I second CIVANA. It’s very affordable, lots of great activities that are included in the price and beautiful location. CIVANA is located in Carefree, Arizona—the town’s name says it all. I can’t wait to go back.
Check out some of the hotels on the Gulf Coast in Florida. Some of them were damaged during the hurricanes in the fall and have been redone and opened and are offering up specials to try to attract business and recoup from the losses.

I recommend a dude ranch somewhere without service. Some have spas, but they’re all inclusive and you get can spend time riding horses
