Any ideas on the pay range for the US Regional Meetings Lead Amgen? I’ve been agency based for quite a long time. I have worked with Amgen previously, currently serving another pharma, but looking to make the leap to the client side. Trying to see if the pay would be worth it at this juncture.

Really sorry to hear about your situation. If you're having a tough time landing a consulting role, it might be helpful to expand your options to industry roles so that you can continue to develop your skillset and maybe eventually transition back into consulting if you so please. As for industry roles, on LinkedIn I'd turn on that you're looking for a job (some button somewhere in your account) so that recruiters can be aware if/when they come across your profile. Then I'd start applying broadly via LinkedIn (those apps are pretty easy and straightforward). Additionally you can try to reach out to any friends or University alumni that may be working in industry or consulting roles of your preference. Also consider reaching out to the consultants (who may have since exited or even those who were also laid off like you) from the firm you previously worked at for any leads or warm introductions.
Good luck!
I was laid off over 4 months ago. I have not had a interview during my unemployment. I have tried different resume editing services, linkedin profinder services, and getting career coaches, nothing has worked. People in this group have helped me edit my resume. Last year was my first year of consulting and I was laid off after just 8 months. Consulting is all about who you know. i do not know anyone in consulting. I got lucky with my first consulting job because I got a job without not having a network. Even with having a big and well-known firm on my resume, I still am not getting any interviews. I have tried reaching out to recruiters on linkedin and have not had much luck. Like how do you get a interview without having a network? I have gotten one consulting job and I know that I am capable of getting another consulting job. I have the experience. I have posted in this group before with my experience and there have been nice people that have given me referrals to positions which I am very appreciative of. I am still not able to get a interview even with referrals. Being a consultant has always been a dream of mine. I do not want to give up on my dream just because I got laid off. Finding a job is really important but I do not want to just get any kind of job. I am trying not to get frustrated and stressed but it is getting more and more difficult not to. I am not worried about finances because I have money saved up and can pay my bills. Everyone tells me it is okay to be unemployed for 6 months to 1 year and I should not be worried. All I hear is don’t stress but it’s hard not to. All I am asking for is even just one interview. I used to be able to find motivation to apply for jobs everyday but today has been tough. Every morning all I see is rejections in my email. Can anyone in this group please give me some advice and suggestions of what I can do to get another consulting job? Any and all help/assistance is appreciated. Please. Thank You.
Why were you laid off? There are a lot of recruiters that focus on life sci consulting surprised about the lack of activity. Are you located in bumble or something?
