Covid-19 coverage: what are you seeing? Where are we headed?

So far, very unlikely for there to be coverage, even less likely if there’s a virus exclusion. Most jurisdictions I’m familiar with are finding that COVID-related losses do not constitute the physical damage required in order to trigger coverage.

Am I a jerk? Haven’t seen my parents in over 1.5 years due to covid. We FaceTime often but they live in the NW and I live in TX. We are all vaccinated but they are both in the at risk population. From what I’ve heard from friends back home, things are shutting down again due to the variant. I’m concerned about traveling & potentially giving my parents something that will make them sick, as well as getting stuck there if things closed down. I know they will be disappointed if I cancel - wwyd?

Okay everyone, I need to rant here.

I'm so sick and tired of getting an email everyday! And I mean every single day getting a COVID 19 email saying there are cases.

My school gets so many cases, I firmly believe we need to go back on lock down and online. This is getting ridiculous that we put state funding over the well being of our students and staff!! I dont want to get sick nor get covid or spread it to our students.

And our job wonders why no one wants to work for us and stay working.

Any advice for recent/upcoming grads wanting to break into the industry but not able to find opportunities due to COVID? Thanks!

It can be impossible to deal with financial losses due to declining health or unforeseen circumstances by not having life insurance. In these cases, the solution to your debts (that can affect the financial stability of you or your loved ones) may fall within the category of life insurance.
