We've created way too many exceptionally wealthy people who quite frankly contribute very little to society. Even as a moderately conservative Republican it's time to close some of the loopholes and raise the tide so it lifts all the boats.

This entire thread just proves that people can no longer think for themselves. A TLDR summary for those reading: Myself and D1 are ostracized throughout because we criticize with common sense a Biden appointee for an unbelievably stupid monetary approach and strategy. Im for racial equality, police reform, helping people who actually need it during this time, I hated Trump and the entire MAGA movement for the same reasons, but anything less than full compliance with the new administration is “unhelpful and unAmerican.” This is dangerous, and we are in the same place we were with Trump.
Kearney - look up Michael Burry (the guy who predicted the 2008 crisis, who the Big Short is about) and what he says about our current state of affairs. We can delay and delay all we want, but at some point when the rest of the world has already ripped the bandaid off, we will have to as well.
