Given the demanding schedule & constant deadlines in Consulting, I’m exploring whether it makes sense to stay on the path toward Manager or consider transitioning to an in-house role hoping for a sustainable work culture. Has any TP consultant ever passed from a big4 to a law firm? A tier 1 firm offered the double of the gross salary respect to what I earn now. I am happy working remotely from 9 to 6. Therefore, in case I will take the offer, part of the salary shall cover higher expenses related to a work in presence (relocation to city center, dry cleaning for the suits, overpriced restaurant for lunch) and I have the feeling that the working environment shall be way worse. Any thoughts?
