The greatest threat to Lebanon is Hezbollah! Hezbollah was humiliated and should be kicked out otherwise Lebanon will never exist in peace ruled by terrorist. Lebanon thrived without terrorist rule and will return to its glory days when Christians and Muslims can live together in harmony like it once had.
Hezbollah is not the problem, the problem for the Levant is Israel. I doubt you’re even muslim, arab, or ever lived in Lebanon. What’s your reason for even being in this bowl besides to parrot Israeli propaganda and point fingers away from Israel?
Don’t expect to find sympathy in this group. Despite full of educated Muslims, this group is hypocritically silent against radical Islamists.
🤣 clean your own house? you’re not even from middle east. Indonesian Muslims, Malay Muslims, Levant Muslims, African Muslims etc are not your house. The turmoil is due to geo-political reasons not Muslims. Between every line you write is bigotry and ignorance. Where are your roots even from?
Most of Lebanon supports Hezbollah as far as a militia force compacity and part of its parliament. Lebanon has always been a place co-existence and quite liberal compared to other places in the region. I pray that Lebanon maintains its well trained and effective militia, improves its economy, and the Lebanese government gets capable air defense net. The greatest threat to Lebanon is Israel and western imperialism for their vas resources in the mediterranean.
55% is Most Lebanese. Please find me any data to back your claims, or go away with your radical propaganda.
Hezbollah butchered Syrian civilians and waged war on behalf of Bashar Al Assad. You keep supporting Hezbollah and watch Lebanon continue down a death spiral.
WM1, why the silence about Israel? Israel is occupying Syria, the current government gave them no resistance, Turkey pushed into west Syria. Americans stealing Syrian oil and still occupying. Haven’t heard one peep from you on Israel. If you had actually had lived in this region or anywhere outside the west maybe you’d understand this not a game of dualities and this is complicated space with multiple fronts.
I support Syria’s sovereignty. Assad is never coming back so I don’t know what you’re on about, the HTS “government” won’t last. Syria will return to the battlefield it was in the 2010s unfortunately.
We can be happy that Assad is gone, but not support the the regime that pushed him out at the same time.
WM1 - If you want to associate yourself as HTS loyalist, a group that fought alongside the same front as Isis that’s on you
Rage bait?
Hezbollah started indiscriminately shooting missiles at Israel on October 8, before Israel even responded to Hamas in Gaza. The ultimate ceasefire agreement was just hezbollah finally acknowledging they should adhere to the UN treaty agreed to in 2006.
Moderate Lebanese people want peace not war, and hezbollah is committed to war.
