So after sidelining the previous leadership, the new leader and his dictator friend has ruined this company. History has repeated: same script they played in their previous organization together and got it closed. Wonder why the co-founders are not scruitnizing them and how they got hired in the first place with such shaddy background? All the good minds have been laid off or left. Few who are left will go in the next 3 months. Even their AI-DS heads and product director and managers have gone.

I'm not hung up on PE/buy side exits, not closed off but nbd. Would be just as happy to stay and make MD (or exit into corp dev if I want an easier life when I'm older)

My dilemma:

I'm at a LMM investment bank. Can get crazy sometimes, but otherwise chill. Typically done around 7-9 pm, had maybe three 1 am nights. Haven't worked a weekend in over a month. Fridays almost always done at 5 pm.

Have an offer at a reputable MM bank but probably pretty sweaty. Worth the move?

I’m a new analyst at an IB group. I’ve felt that I’ve done well my first month or two and delivered higher quality work, but I feel that lately I’ve been slipping up the past few weeks given the intensity of the deal as well as having multiple peripheral work streams. I’m four months into my job and I got put onto a PIP. I worked so hard to break into IB, put up all the hours and even working 2am nights for weeks, learned a ton, and improved a lot along the way as the sole analyst yet this happens. I’m extra worried because it doesn’t seem there’s IB analyst positions out there. Im really hoping come January more positions come up but I’m just praying they don’t fire me until then. I was thinking conditional format, but it’s identifying duplicate labels. I have over 80,000 cells, so extracting URLs manually isn’t going to work for me.
