So an announcement went out describing my promotion but I didn’t get any official title change or salary change or even an office or desk. I just got more work to do and more reports that my boss just calls his own. I’m beyond frustrated and exhausted by this. Should I just quietly find a new job and quit or fight back? I’ve talked to HR and even they are confused by whole situation.

What has your experience been with new job offers and counter offers from current employers? In my opinion, if I’m looking to leave it is because I’m unhappy and excited about the new role I’ve been offered. I’ve never been interested in a counter offer and it seems like it would ruin relationships with both employers. Interested to hear others opinions!
