I received a Senior Game Developer position at Globant Game Studios and just wanted to know if anyone has any idea about this department. I received Bangalore as the base Location and they told me Pune is having all the team, in future will they ask me to join in Pune? Which I don't want to.

While discussing the role with HR pre and post the interviews & offer, I had specifically ask the HR to tag me to Ahmedabad location as that's my hometown and I do not wish to relocate. But she has rolled out the offer for Pune location ane verbally ( isn't giving me in writing ) assured me that the location will be flexible. Employer should give house Rent reimbursement instead of internet reimbursement as we rent the house solely for office purposes in this hybrid setup.
Remember, the House Rent+ food +commute cost is
One of the deduction which does not appear in your salary slip but it is a deduction by the employer.
Also, you have to leave your family and loved ones.
People should start to refuse and deny the demand of working from office locations if they are not giving a salary which is not enough to afford rent of that location.

Very true, for Bangalore minimum is 4 lakh per year just for rent in a good area if you want to live with family, for bachelor it is fine with 1.5 to 2 lakh.
Bhai, ham to 2.5 saal se Pune ka garbage, traffic, nadi/ talab ki badh par kar ja hi rahe hai ofc jiska aaj tak koi matlab nahi banta dikha
Bas job aur salary meaningless jarur lagne lagi when u start realising that personal life is going away day by day

Pune is still cheaper than Bangalore, near to Bangalore office 2BHK is around 35K minimum in good area, it even goes to 40-50K range for 2BHK, for bachelor it might be fine to live in PG but for people having family it's difficult
Lets all ignore these biased mandates only meant for India. If majority dont follow, especially the non natives, what will they do? Fire everyone?🤷🏻♂️
But thats the case for bench employees in all companies, if you are on bench you always have to keep the option to look outside as well especially in these last 2-3 years of uncertain times in IT industry. As long as you are billed I feel people should ignore these useless mandates, especially when they are not giving out hikes
Your last year hike will go away due to this new expenses.
People should follow this practice, spend 7-8 hours in office then go home and don't login
Wait until they implement core working hour rule, if people will do like this

Land mafia and Builders nexus is doing their job, they are forcing the govt to ask companies to come to the office otherwise their expensive offices and apartments will be empty.
I agree that the cost of living in Bangalore/Pune is rising steadily, but I feel that Globant is still being relatively lenient by asking us to come in only 2 days a week. Other companies are moving towards a 5-day work-from-office policy.
I've been hearing about how Globant's work environment is being considered toxic, but are we certain that other organizations are much different?
Personally, I think our best option is to focus on moving towards a product-based company. If we aim for that, we'll need to level up our skills to get there. Otherwise, we'll continue facing these inconveniences.
P.S: I am not from management. But logically socho saare.
