It's not just staff! Apparently we have a lot of kids out, and yesterday we had 39% student absenteeism.

One of the schools in our county had to shut down for a couple days because they had so many students and staff out.
I taught then went home and went directly to bed for several weeks. It makes your entire body achy and you are just continually exhausted. I hope that you feel better soon.

Thank you. I'm not sure if I'll work tomorrow or not. Just depends on how much sleep I get tonight.
A number of years ago, I had the flu- fever for 3 days, slept for most of 72 hours. Returned to school on the 4th day, (thought the world needed me! )
Hacked and coughed for the next 3-4 months.
Should have taken more time to rest and recover
Take care of yourself.
Last year I had flu b (which was apparently worse last year?). I was out for a full week.

I am still wiped put and feeling bad. I can't seem to kick this.
I have had the congestion and aches and fatigue for more than two weeks. Yet, I feel I got a minor case. At the end of the day, I was coming home and plopping into bed. I’m happy I got the shot as several colleagues who didn’t have been out for a week and suffered for an additional two weeks, whereas I was out for a day and just toughed it out the others. (And I’m by far the oldest on staff!). 💪
