Considering an offer for Manager (Software Engineering) at PwC. Think the projects will be mostly internal facing tools rather than client based.

Anyone have any insights to offer about what to expect at this level at PwC? WLB, intensity, etc.

Hey Willis Tower Watson folks, what are pay, benefits, and culture like? I've been asked to apply to two roles. One is an internal manager role and another is a client manager. Not sure if I wanna go back to external consulting etc

all the senior managers I work with are male. Being an extreme high performer when I ask for opportunities I am told I need to wait and I hear suggestions that I am over ambitious however few male colleagues of mine in similar position without doing anything get all the opportunities passed over . What do you do in similar case ?
I am like fire fighter in my team any project goes critical I End up working on it to bring it back to sane state but I never get anything on my own and is asking for it being over ambitious ?

Sometimes I think about how miserable this industry is.

Then I think about shopping for a car and any client feels better than that experience.

The amount of times I have encountered a successful woman who distances herself from other women in the workplace in order to succeed is exhausting. They view or treat subordinates more critically especially if they are a female of colour. They refuse to help other women rise up the ranks as a form of self-preservation. Women of colour are exhausted and tired of constantly proving we belong. Any advice on how to deal with these people?
