Hey, vent away. If you don't NEED to work right now and don't feel like doing it, there's no harm in taking some time off, assuming your supportive spouse is okay with it. Have to say, I'm very envious 😂. I'd love to take some time away to figure out my next move, but that's not a possibility for me right now.
Sometimes you need that time to get things in order especially mentally, everyone is different and circumstances also so there's no fixed time as to when to get back. It's good you have support unlike me I can't stay away for too long, I have to get back in there if something like that happens to me. Work is definitely a chore for adults and sooner you figure something out that works great/convenient for you the better.
It's okay to take the time to find the right job ....but don't take too long. Having months to have free time without working can make one more sensitive to not like working for a manager that may be a tad micromanagerish and become uncomfortable compared to having free time. Falling out of good work habits can make one lazy to do a good job. Just make sure your new career is something you like and with a good organization. Most importantly you must interview your employer....ask good question during your interview to ensure it is a job you will enjoy.

Now is a great opportunity to just try something new and get off your arse. What's stopping you signing up for an agency and doing every job they offer? Sure the pay is crap, but you'll find out what industry you really want to be in and work from there.

Is good to vent. Those crappy jobs some are good it depends on your resume or luck or the chemistry you have with the HR or hiring manager. If you know how to navigate your growth, take them. I took a crappy job but on my interview i was offered the position i wanted in 90days. My boss cannot wait for me take the role. 2 days to go.
