Congrats!!! If I’m spending someone else’s money I’d love to hear if Black Art from Bruicladdich is worth the money?
Otherwise what’s your preferred spirit Bourbon, Rye, Scotch, etc.? Any particular styles?

My initial thought was Japanese whiskey. My default was Hibiki 21, but most ppl told me this career bump took a while to get so I should scale up from it. So either Japanese whiskey or Scotch since I’m probably pair cigars with it.
Try Brownoser 25. Sophistication and sycophancy in a bottle.

🙄🤦♂️
If you are into bourbon, I would go William LaRue Weller or George T Stagg. I've had them both, and WLW is like a beautiful ballet dancer, while GTS is a brutal dominatrix who knows how to hit the right buttons.

Get the Macallan 25 and then a nice watch.
Isn't that a piece unique from 2019? How'd you snag that?

I good with bourbon but some of the ppl I’m going to be celebrating aren’t so I’m going with Scotch or Japanese Whiskey.
For the money, Balvenie 21yr is a great option. Very accessible, and the port wood finish is incredible. Pairs well with cigars and a smooth drink neat or with rocks.
Maybe scale up from Hibiki 21 (also my default for celebration drinks) is the Hibiki 30 or a bottle of the Yamazaki Mizunara (picked one up yesterday / trying to find a place that will offer tastings for less than $400/pour lol)? Or try and get a more limited Chichibu (only cracked open one of my US 22s but was special) or if lucky - a Karuizawa? (I’m a big Japanese whisky fan and those would be my special bottles.)
