You’ve got enough time that you could also do Chiang Mai which is my fav city in Thailand. Night markets are great, beautiful temples, delicious food - eat all the mangos, rent mopeds and drive out in the countryside to Bo sang umbrella village.
Bangkok is cool for the royal palace, reclining Buddha but the other cities are more chill for a honeymoon.
Get lots of Thai massages. They’re amazing and cheap.
Vana Belle Koh Samui!
Do you have any itinerary beyond just “Thailand”? It’s a pretty big country lol, would help to know where you’re going first to be able to make hotel recommendations.
Would also be helpful to have some level of budget, are we doing white lotus Thailand style, or way less than that?
Visit Ancient City Siam in Bangkok! And yes to massages, they are $12 USD for a 1 hr foot massage that also includes head and neck too! Except a lot of walking and if you can get Grab (Uber) on motorcycles because there is so much traffic. Tons of temples for you to visit as well
Make sure to go to Fai Ta Lu in Bangkok for the best Pad Thai. The owner had a Michelin star restaurant in NYC.
