We just got Disney Social and we're going to be able to ride the rides when the park is closed during shoots!

Wow, if I were 10 years old that would be like so fun. Since I'm an adult, that sounds like torture.

Disney World, for Disney. Greatest moment- finishing a meeting and getting to ride the rides. I miss that client.

Alright guys, Disney isn't for everyone. I didn't like it as a kid and definitely wouldn't now.

Anyway, exotic? Nowhere really - LA mainly. Random? Edmonton in December. The airline lost my luggage and I had to wear the same one sweater and leggings and a coat in subzero temperature for 3 days. It was gross and cold.

I love not having to travel to my client every week anymore but also hating that I will lose delta status this year :( what’s the best credit card out there to maintain some status and semblance of sanity with delta travel? I have csr and so does my husband but I think I will switch next year.

I recently switched over from an internal project to a client project to boost my career. Since switching, my family life has been a mess - I am barely able to make@time for my 3yo, I’m working 12+ hours, and to top it off I found out I am pregnant 2 weeks ago. OBs in my area only open weekdays and I can’t even get an appt with my project schedule. I’m seriously debating if I quit my job or burn bridges to go back to an internal project. Idk what to do…. Help..

I got an offer for 85k base pay and I feel like it’s pennies compared to the work I’ll have to do :/. Does anyone know of any entry level consulting/project management/marketing roles that are open that have more competitive pay? Ideally I’d like to make at least in the 90k range.

I would like advice from you guys. I have worked for large firms as a SAP Data Analyst / Archiving Consultant in functional roles on various projects. My resume clearly states that I’m functional but I continue to run into request for technical roles requiring language skills. This has me on the fence on whether I should pursue a language skill or stay functional and tap into project management. Either way, staying idle is beginning to look shaky. Your thoughts?

Hello fishes,

I have been working on a Salesforce support project for 2 years now in Tcs(joined as fresher). This project helped me to get to know lot about the Salesforce Ecosystem, and also i was able to learn a lot on the programming side.

I am planning to switch now, but not receiving much interview calls. Is it because i am not having a Salesforce Certification?

How do you deal with constantly being expected to deliver perfection?

Small mistakes, ultimately the result of being understaffed and breaking the review process to speed up timelines, make me feel like garbage.

Serious question: I’ve worked in MBB, Big 4 and tier 2, and the number one reason I’ve heard for younger (less than 5 YoE) talent leaving is that they are “not doing strategy work.” It’s also the top request from younger staffers to do on every engagement team I’ve led. The question: Are there any consulting firms really letting new talent do this? Or is this the top delusion of new MBAs entering the consulting world?
