I have been in a project since 7-8 months as functional consultant (though i was hired as a BA) yet no work has been given to me. Not even KT has been conducted yet. Latinx - help! We used this term in our diversity spotlight discussing Hispanic Heritage Month. One individual said that in English a group of Latinos would just be Latins to be gender neutral. I understand the word is controversial but is “Latins” grammatically correct? I assume we should just say Latin Americans, but trying to understand if Latins is also accurate.

How do you confirm a company that approaches you from Europe is legitimate? I have a media company from Turkey asking me to quote some animation for them. They have a website, have given their address (which is an actual address on google maps), and have given phone numbers which I haven't tried yet. I have let them know that if we work together, I'd require 50% up front, 35% midway and 15% before delivery of final elements and they say they're fine with that. Anything else?
