Starting to think that some finance jobs are just fake listings to look like they’re hiring. I’ve applied to the same role at a mid-sized firm three times over the last six months...got one interview, then silence. Now it’s posted again, word-for-word. Are they really hiring, or just fishing for resumes to look “active”? How do you tell when a listing is real versus total BS? I’m tired of wasting time on ghost jobs.

I applied to a job at KPMG and did the first two rounds of interviews, general interview, then case study and competency. Never before have I had such a positive feedback at the end of an interview of the 2nd, both said really like me, I did well etc.
It's now been 3 weeks since the interview and I still haven't heard back from the team other than the odd HR email saying they are following up with them. Is there something going on internally, I.e hiring freeze in the London office atm?
