Does anybody else have an arched neck/spine from sitting all day at the computer? I started being very intentional about my posture and trying to do the exercises to reduce the ‘hunchback’ but does anyone else have other recommendations?

Yes! It’s the worst! I got one of those $10 posture inserts from Walmart that attaches to my office chair, and it makes a world of difference.

Putting your laptop on a stack of big books/elevating it somehow so that it’s more eye level when you sit can help keep you from looking down too much/slouching!

Yes omg this is the worst!! I switched chairs this week and it’s helping. I also started seeing a Chiropractor once a month and honestly that has provided the best relief.

I also do yoga postures to reverse the way I hold my neck and spine all day and I stretch my neck like every hour. I want to convert to a standing desk at some point. But I feel your pain. It’s horrible.

When someone tells me bad news regarding their health, I say everything I am supposed to say (I’m sorry to hear that, I’m here for you, etc) EXCEPT “everything is going to be ok”. Because I can’t guarantee that and I really don’t know if everything is going to be ok.
