Honestly it’s risky. South Africa’s economy is tanking at the moment, so I do hope you keep it there to bring in some much needed revenue! But at this point it’s hard to say it will be OK. The other thing to consider is whether airlines will be in full swing. It usually 2 flights to get to CPT, so will your guests have the options they need?

Thanks BCG1, our plan is to go ahead. Hopefully there is more in our arsenal by then to better contain outbreaks etc and travel is more normalized.

I don’t know, but I hope it works out for you!

Vaccine is 12-18 months out. Without a vaccine guests may not be comfortable traveling to far place with multiple plane changes and a higher level of exposure. You can have the wedding .. maybe not all the guests. Good luck ❤️

No. Just don’t.

Would you stay living in a city you like but have very few friends there, or move back to your hometown where most of your friends and family are? My current city has a population of about 500k and my hometown is about 100k. My main reason to move away from my hometown was dating and jobs, but neither seem to be going any better over the past 2 years. COL is about 28% higher than my hometown and jobs don’t pay much better.
