Struggling to budget housing in a VHCOL with a baby on the way. On one hand, if we stretch a bit I can live closer to the office, which makes it more likely I last in Biglaw (5th year with strong reviews in a niche group for now, but I realize I could get a rug pull in the next few years), where if we stick to something with more financial breathing room it means commuting an hour each way with 3 days RTO. Both options suck.

My aso will mention to do stuff as he's walking out, says do this this and this and by the time I process what he said he's out the door then I miss something he's like I told you to do it. For those of you who have worked for a female and a male ECD/CCO in your career, what are some of the biggest differences between the two that you noticed? Aside from the biological ones.
