Is it common in the industry for licensed insurance agents to not get any commissions on a referral in which you personally write the policy? Ex: If a current client refers a prospect to our team, I would not receive commission. I’m currently interviewing for a role that is somewhat a dream role at my dream agency. But I currently love my agency, have no qualms, and am in the middle of a couple of projects. Is it bad to leave in the middle of projects but is there ever a good time to leave? I don’t want to severe connections and relationships I have with my co-workers.
