Tell me what actually works. A story about a candidate who stood out amongst the million other applications. I really need a job soon and I'm completely lost on what I'm lacking.

I have been looking for a job for 6 months and have only had two interviews. I am right there with you, my friend. I honestly think it is just a sign of how bad the job market is and not anything we are doing wrong.

Me too, applied to 100 jobs in last 6 months and no interviews

Are you getting interviews? I dont even get those

Sometimes resume get rejected by AI so make sure it has requirements they ask for

Same here I have been looking for 5 months now and have had a couple of interviews but nothing come through. It’s extremely stressful! I may have to sell my home. Idk what else to do at this point. I can’t work beside due to a health issue and I have 7 years working remote. I don’t get what is going on. I tweak my resume for ATS, I follow up on LinkedIn, I apply and apply and keep seeing the same position posted over and over again and I get the same generic rejection email. What is going on??? Why post a position if you are not really hiring? There is no way out of the hundreds of people applying you’re not finding top talent. I am a mid level - senior RN and I know I’m qualified for the positions I apply for. This is just scary. Should I just give up and change careers?? I’ve worked in sales and project management but biotech won’t take me. CM and UM for all LOB and still nothing. I feel completely defeated and lost.

I’ve been leading a massive project by myself for the last year almost and my boss torpedoed my last round of meetings: “oh we don’t need to socialize this, I’ve been doing it, let’s just kick it off.” Okay. So turns out, no one fucking knew and now because we had one meeting instead of two, the people we met with aren’t even the ones doing the work, and they’re not telling the ones who are supposed to do the work about it. So I now need to go back and do more meetings.

How many billable hours per week is considered at capacity? I’m getting pushback on boundaries I’m setting about additional matters and marketing work from my firm when I’ve been billing 60-75 hours per week for the last 6 weeks, and I’m still behind on my work. I feel like it’s reasonable to not kill myself further to fit in more/turn things around faster at this point, but am I being unreasonable? I expect my workload to remain at this level through the end of the year at least.

I was downsized by this company 6 years ago and had worked for them for 8 years prior. I am now in talks with them about another oppertunity but they do not want to let me start back with those 8 years. I looked up standard practice and according to the standards at the Society of Human Resources Management HR should give me my time back cause I was downsized (not fired for cause and I did not quit). What should I do?
