I think it would allow many more people into the field of law but the LSAT does have foundational methods that are used in firms. They can be acquired based on their need in the firm.
Let the free market control... many will go belly-up and small regionals will focus on specialized niche markets.
Never mind law professors don't actually need to have passed any bar exam, ever practiced, have been in good standing with any bar, or even maintain even inactive status.
I have mixed feelings about this right now. I mean, LSAT has been an essential part of my law school journey. I could still remember what I felt when I received my result.
