How to start automation testing?
As an ADC applying this summer for 2022 start, I haven’t gotten a chance to connect with any L.E.K. Consulting members and I really want to get to know the company better before moving on with my application. Any L.E.K. Consulting fish out there willing to spare a few minutes to chat about their work, the company, the culture etc? Thanks!
I had interviewed for an internship position at EY for technology consultant program for summer 2022 and got a call where they extended an offer. I wanted to know if I can defer the internship offer to fall 2022 or a later start date after summer.
I apologize as I cannot reply to a comment or DM on this platform to anyone, but thanks for your answers in advance.
PwC A recruiter from PWC reached out to me to ask if I’d consider a different office the one I applied to, since it’s full. It would be Boston, Hartford, Chicago, Minneapolis, Little Rock, Denver, San Francisco or San Jose. MSA candidate. Is there a fully remote option? Do you have to be in the office all the time? Is the compensation high at PWC? Is there a possible moving expenses? Any insight or advice would help me make a decision. Thank you!

I think you might be misunderstanding what’s happening. Let’s categorize tech into two groups to explain this: old and new. Old tech would be MSFT, Oracle, Dell, etc. Companies that have been around for decades and create products with a very clear value proposition and market demand. New tech would be start ups, social media, and the streaming/gig sort. Some of the new tech branch is flailing right now because many of these companies do not have a clear value proposition nor adequate market demand and thus are not meeting the standards that their stakeholders want to see — that’s why they are rescinding offers. If your “stable company” is what I would call old tech, then you’re likely going to be perfectly fine.
I would keep applying. It really never hurts to have multiple offers.
