How I’m feeling right now..

I recently got diagnosed with ADHD. I'm 31 and found this only because b school and post mba consulting job was/is much more challenging than anything I did before. What I'm confused about is that even as a teenager I could read entire books overnight. But the last two years of high school I started selectively zoning out and the problem has become worse since. I just realised it now. My doctor has suggested treating depression (I was also unaware of this) with Wellbutrin first (contd)

Just how bad would it be to quit without a two week notice? I’ve been bait & switched into a horrible role, overworked to the point of having medical problems, and no amount of diplomatic talks with my manager has improved the day to day. My mental health and my personal relationships have been on a steady decline.

I don’t have another job lined up yet. But I’m danger close to quitting and taking my chances with freelance. Could it be worth it?

Looking for help on which exercises I should focus on at the gym. I’m looking to increase my stamina in terms of reciprocal hip movements while in a horizontal position. I’m working on cardio, but is there anything else I should be doing?

Anyone had luck finding a good therapist who actually understands ADHD? Getting advice like "try taking a walk every day" and "practice these breathing exercises" is driving me crazy. I need actual solutions and shit, not just platitudes and internet worksheets.

Getting over heartbreak and having a full time job is torture lol. My boyfriend and I just broke up after almost a year of being together. I manage 2 physician practices and one is extremely toxic. To the point the dr sides with staff even when I am trying to make corrective actions when patient care is in jeopardy. My leadership is aware and knows I am keeping my distance from them. Just doing the necessary work to keep them producing. How do you handle this? It’s been extremely stressful and harmful to my ptsd anxiety and depression.

My fiancée almost lost her life to a medical emergency. The doctor needed me to stay home 2 weeks to supervise her post-operative care once the hospital discharged her. We had nobody near that could help so I got permission to attend class remotely for 2 weeks from the dean and all professors. One professor removed me from a graded argument the week after I’d return. When I asked about this error, he had said “I had planned on your failure to appear” and that he preplanned giving me a 0 grade.

To the people that dump loads of $$$ on mobile or computer games as a way to chill after a crazy day, why do you do it? I am thinking there has to be better way to cope.
