Does anyone here work for Carvana? I’ve had a recruiter reach out about a position several times but know they just went through some layoffs. Have they recovered and are they on a good track or is there still a lot of risk?

I am defending an eviction for a client who has given possession of the property (as of Nov. 30). Plaintiff’s complaint has one claim – possession. They did request relief for attorney’s fees. NJT/Final Hearing commenced 10/27, was only 30 min and was therefore continued to 12/20. Plaintiff had counsel at that time but they are no longer represented.  I want to file something notifying Court that Plaintiff claim is now moot, making sure that judgment is not entered that hurts (cont'd)..

Just read a LinkedIn post from someone who was laid off from Twitter. They mentioned how to had just spent the last week completing projects that should have taken several quarters to do. Then they were let go without a thought. Remember, your company is not your family.

I am currently in Retail Project Management (coming up on 2 years) right now and am looking to make a shift into real estate finance. Is it better to quit or get laid off? I know what to look for when being pushed out and with a combination of the work I don’t have and the work the firm seemingly doesn’t have, it just feels like a mess. I’ll note I have other job offers lined up because I felt uneasy here for a bit.

I was recently (in April) fired from a good nursing position that I was at for 5 years. I reached out to my old ADON to get some information on where we had our vaccinations from and she told me that I should come back and the administrator that I had issues with is gone.
