That shift is real. At some point stability and peace start outweighing titles. A steady paycheck, decent coworkers, and being able to shut your brain off at night is underrated. Ambition is great, but burnout is not. Priorities just evolve as you get older.

I agree with you. I guess greed took over for many business owners they simply forgot about the meaning of having work balance and good workers without all the unfairness and drama . Eventually one day we all be able to have a simple and satisfying job that doesn’t make you question your existence.

Yes I have. In a way….I definitely strive to earn more so that I can set myself up for later in life, and I know that comes with having the right titles and positions. More responsibility, more problems, more time at work, etc. I am longing to have a more stable life, but I know that what I want to achieve will take some sacrifice. I’d honestly want nothing more than to own a small business that I can sustain myself.
