The pace of AI progress is mind-boggling, does it even follow Mohr's law? Every week there's a breakthrough, and while exciting, it's also overwhelming. How do we keep up? And more importantly, how do we ensure AI benefits everyone, not just tech giants? We need more public discourse on this stuff, and ensure that our politicians actually understand how AI works.

Anybody with a priority date of mid-late 2015 that is considering switching jobs? I have an offer that I was about to sign, but saw that priority dates for filing in EB2 are already at sep 2014 this April. That makes me wonder if i could either miss my window or worse if the date becomes current while my new employer is still doing PERM. I started trading during Covid crash. Started with equities and eventually moved to options. Earlier lost a month's salary and then lot more trying to recover it. Currently have lost my yearly salary worth and it's affecting all aspects of my life (job, marriage, health). I have tried to convince myself to consider it a loss but always get back trying to recover it.
