Honestly I think everyone has that split second of panic when tech goes sideways in front of a line. What helped me was realizing most guests don’t know if it’s normal or not. Stay calm, narrate what’s happening, and keep moving. Your reaction sets the tone more than the glitch ever does.

I know that panic all too well. I usually take a deep breath, admit the glitch to the customer, and focus on the next step most of the time it’s just a quick fix. Keeping calm is easier said than done, but honesty and patience go a long way.
