I think that whether you are onsite or working from home, people should be compensated the same for the same work. Now if you are doing more onsite than at home, those people should be paid more for that extra work they dare doing. That is the only way to keep things fair.

I agree with you; however, I think that those working from home use their own internet and energy, so compensation should reflect that too.
There really isn't anything any of us can do. The reality is, companies set the policies, and we have to decide if we can abide by them or need to leave. I'm full time on-site right now, but I've heard a lot of stories about remote employees getting paid less than on-site workers. It seems fair to me since WFH is a huge perk. Probably wouldn't think that if that's how I worked, though.

I see your point! Just remember, people working from home pay for their own supplies and energy, while companies cover those costs for on site workers. It’s only fair to think about both sides when it comes to pay.
