There’s people on quarantine here

Have been sober for many years but currently relapsed and am in a downward spiral. I’m close to losing my family but I can’t seem to get my head together. Feel like I need a few months out, maybe take some time off work… has anyone done similar and did it help?

I went to the lease this last weekend. Not one drop of alcohol was had. That was the closest I’ve come to caving. 4 wheelers, killing dinner with big guns, doing manly things in God’s country. Beer is an absolute necessity during these events. Anyhow, I didn’t drink. Proud of myself. Monumental moment for me.

Feel like I’m in a fog. Having trouble focusing, can’t remember shit, I’m depressed and sort of just numb. Is this something therapy can help? Medication? No idea where to start

There’s no excuse that by the age of 25 you have never tried therapy. I’m speaking directly to the demographic in this group who I’m sure over 95% of people in here are earning 6 figures. I do an hour workout and split it between 10 mins cardio and 50 mins strength workout. Q - do you do cardio first or last? I do it first, but see a lot of folks at the gym do it in the end. Any benefit of one vs the other?
