Rooftop cinema club is a cool spot for a date night or friend night. There is memorial park, it’s great spot for walking, running, tennis, and golf. There have been a ton of pickleball courts built in Houston recently. There are plays, musicals, etc that come to Houston.
I heard the Lion King musical is coming to Houston. It's expensive but worth it.
Stand up comedy is another good alternative.
