Do you ever feel like there are rooms you’re locked out of? I’m a black woman, i lateraled to my group a few months ago with minimal onboarding and welcome. How early is too early to decorate for Christmas? I'm very much in wait until after Thanksgiving camp, but my neighbors have had so much stuff up since November 1st!

I’m relocating to the US from an international rotation to work in Galveston. I have never been to Texas and I am trying to find the best spot for my family to live in. So far from reading online it sounds like Pearland is a good option but I have not been able to validate that/ figure out what other options are out there. I would appreciate all advice:
1. Would you recommend living in Pearland?
2. What are other good areas to live in? Safe and would like to be less than 1 hour from Galveston.
