This is why job hunting feels like online dating. All vibes, no details. I’ve been looking for a few weeks now, and almost none of the postings include salary info. It's exhausting not knowing if something’s even worth applying to. For those who've found solid roles, did you filter by salary upfront, or just ask later in the process?

I used to wait and ask later, but now I just skip anything that doesn’t list a salary. If they’re not transparent upfront, it usually means the comp won’t match my expectations anyway.

I need to know the salary upfront. I made that mistake once earlier in my career and ended up wasting time over the course of 4 interviews. You'd think providing this info at the outset would be in everyone's best interests, but way too few companies actually seem to include it in their job postings.

I saw an ad from the employer that said "salary TBD". I sent my cover letter in email format. The reply asked for my resume. I wrote and asked for a ballpark figure so that we don't waste each other's time. No response.

I made the switch to in house and omg it’s so slow. I knew it’d be a bit slower than agency but I accomplish less in a month than I used to in a day. Is this how all in house jobs are or has anyone found a faster pace in house gig?

To all the people searching PGs, i would suggest not to go with any online bookings like nestaway, zolostays.

The ideal thing is to land in hyderabad, book a hotel for two days and then go to office nearby area and search for PGs, you will get 100+ pgs in each location. Have a look at the room size, ventilation , bed size , if required taste the food also before booking PG. In case you need flat then also you will see " To let " boards everywhere, just call the number
