This might be a dumb question but I’ve started a food and beverage education company and I’m currently running my first ad. The ad leads to a landing page that shows information on the courses that are launching soon. I’m trying to get people to sign up for the mailing list to get notified when the courses go live AND I’m offering $100 to the first 20 to register for the course. I’m getting a lot of traffic to the page but no one has signed up. Is this normal?

What's the link?

Where are you placing ads?
Have you reviewed where your traffic is coming from on a regional basis?
Are you doing any retargeting?
What happens after somebody signs up? Have you tested this process? Have you asked others to test this process?

Anyone who has started up a side hustle whilst working in consulting - is it generally a good idea to let your employer know or will they make your life difficult/try to push you out if they know?

(Context - I need the extra income to have a shot at affording grad school, I work for a small boutique, job contract was ambiguous on the issue. Side hustle is selling stuff I make as a hobby on Amazon)

Thanks!

I'm entering my final year of law school but am going part time since I work full time as a paralegal. I have been a paralegal for more 10+ years and I want to open my own firm after I pass the bar.

I've worked at a lot of different size firms including a startup with a few attorneys and I was able to help with a lot of the ground work with getting the practice management system in place and still do some of that now at my current firm. Has anyone done this right out of law school? Any advice?

Questions about job hopping-
My average tenure at a company is ~1.5 years (with ~11 YOE), but each jump I've made has yielded progressive/tangible career growth.

I'm concerned after my most recent jump (went from a product director to a head of product position at a different, smaller company after only a year) that I've kind of poisoned future career prospects at larger companies.

Any insights on whether this type of job hopping is a complete deal breaker for potential HMs?

I have an experience of more than 2 years in financial operations, audit and compliance, reports management and data analysis. Is there any opportunity in EY GDS as per my skills?

Hello, I need some guidance. I'm a Demand Generation Manager and I have more experience and know Marketing strategy and how to implement marketing programs than my colleagues. So, a new Marketing director joined the company 3 weeks ago and asked me to think about the next lever in my career. He wants to give me an opportunity to grow. I wonder if a Product Marketing Manager role would be an appropriate title since I would be responsible to ensure the marketing programs were implemented.Thoughts?

How big of a red flag is it that a company doesn’t have a marketing strategy/plan in place? I’ve been asking for this from my director but alway get some type of an excuse so I’m starting to believe there isn’t one. We are a company with over 200+ employees and 4+ locations
