I disagree with the other responder. Security is security. Prima Donna’s don’t get to be exempt because they think that they are more important than the Commoners. Hackers look for vulnerabilities and exploit them, period. If they are opening up a vulnerability then “sorry, no deal”. Put your security device on your keychain and grow up.

I mean, the c suite decides what is mandatory. Providing them exception doesn’t mean you cannot roll it out to everyone else. It’s not unusual to have security requirements different based on levels.
If you really think it is a major risk , then you should escalate. You can also come up with alternative ways to make it secure for them. Or create a process that they must follow without tokens (hardware tokens are not essential at all )
