There is a wide mix of people living in Peter Cooper/stuytown. From families to elderly to singles to grad students. Amenities like bball, pickleball, hockey courts, dog runs, gyms, lots of events and green park/outdoor space
Agree East Village is trending quite undergrad-y though.
Is space and cost similar? Either could be good.
The Peter Cooper side is quieter, skews older, less sports courts, less people.
The Stuytown side (south of 20th) is livelier, younger, more courts, amenities, etc and closer to subway on 14th.
If i were a 25 yo single guy I’d prefer Stuytown side. As a 40 yo mom I prefer Peter Cooper side - but find myself hanging out more outdoors in Stuytown. But it’s all right there and both sides available to use.
