I’m on a pacific north west trip right now in Portland and Seattle. I cannot recommend it enough. The weather is PERFECT. Even the cloudier days are so comfortable.
Thank you!!
Is this a vacation or just working from a different location? Summer of 24 we went to both Alaska and Iceland. Both were great. Iceland is probably easier to make arrangements and get around. Alaska can require booking small planes to get to some sites (ie, Brooks Falls). If you want to just work from somewhere with better weather I would think about San Diego and Estes Park, Co.
Great question. Ideally, It would be vacation. Thanks for the tips!
In the US, I’d do Yellowstone or Grand Teton. Or even Banff National Park in Canada.
For Europe, the Alps come to mind. Swiss are my favorite but there are good kid friendly resorts all over. I’d also recommend Norway or Scotland if you want to do something a little more northern in a place you can go back to a more urban “home base” with culture, food, etc.
Also think about the southern hemisphere. It’s winter down there and will be colder. Australia/NZ, and South Africa come to mind. Maybe Patagonia if you want a winter trip in the middle of summer, or Chile/Bolivia for some cultural/historical hikes.
Thank you Counsel 1. Excellent list!!
I'd look at places like the Oregon Coast, Olympic Peninsula, Maine, or even the Canadian Rockies for that perfect 70–80°F summer. I used viator phone number https://viator.pissedconsumer.com/customer-service.html to find family-friendly tours, food walks, national park trips, and historical experiences, and their page helped me explore sightseeing cruises, outdoor adventures, and attraction tickets in one place, making trip planning much easier.
Thank you for these tips!
