Hi Fishes, I am here to ask your help , i gave an interview to Tata Capital and selected for the position but the HR is not contact me about the salary negotiation or anything. I was called the HR and they said they didn't receive manpower approval. I have hardly 5 days left to join the new organization. What can I do ? Now the hr is not lifting the call as well as the interviewer also not lifting the call.

@OP - join the Facebook group 'SOS Global Indians' for the latest information regarding traveling to India. Lot of useful information available there
Thanks C2! Will do that
You need a COVID test done not more than 72 hours (was 96 a few weeks back) before boarding and need to show the negative result to authorities upon landing. As far taking a COVID test after arriving in India - keep in mind that gestation period for the virus is 2 to 14 days (80% conf. interval but pls check online independently). So getting a negative result a few days after landing is not necessarily an indicator that one isn’t infected and that folks around will be safe. 14 days quarantine with 2 consecutive negative results spaced 24 hours apart is the safest bet given the high risk demographic.
Thank you. Super helpful M1.
One of my friends who went to India recently did the following: took extreme precautions on flight (facemask, shield, sanitizing wipes, gloves), checked into a hotel room in India to self quarantine, took a covid test after 2 days in-spite of showing no symptoms and only went home once he got negative report from the test.
Thanks C1. Did he have to get tested in USA and carry the results with him during immigration in India?
I would arrange for a covid test as soon as you land and socially distance from mom until you get your results
Thanks K1. Yep. Planning to self quarantine. But my query is mainly around prep needed in order to travel from US to India
I got a test 96h before I flew (allowed me to quarantine at home), and there are a fair # of forms you need to fill before you fly. Would recommend you print them out as well. I flew BA, so some of the forms were different but you should still have to fill air suvidha, exemption form (if you want to quarantine at home) and download the arogya setu app.
Thanks SM1. I’ll be flying Air India. Good point about carrying print outs
