To all you administrative assistants out there, how often do you truly use Excel? I have some knowledge with Excel but I’m not proficient because I’ve not really used it. I have used many other company software and I can usually pick it up fairly quickly. I have been applying for jobs but, they do say I need to be knowledgeable in Excel. I am taking a class on Coursera (unemployment is paying for the class).

Any help, thoughts or anything you can tell me is appreciated. Thanks!

I haven't had to do an interview in so long. Can someone please tell me what to expect with the recruiter call? I'm assuming it will be mostly about the role, my skills and background?
