I'm an accounts receivable expert with 8+ yrs of experience. I started with 96k per annum in 2014, and have worked with 4 different MNCs since then. Currently I'm getting approx 9Lpa, and it feels like I'm pretty much stuck here. Switching jobs increases the pay scale, while staying for a while reflects stability.

When I look at the other member's comments here, it seems majority of folks are earning 20-30Lpa or even more.

Any suggestions from mature audience to achieve a big pay raise.

Few tips to improve your visual design skills

- Learn Typography: Typography is essential because 60-70% of user interfaces are about written content displayed in a meaningful way.

- Learn Layout and Composition: You don’t need to be pixel perfect, but if you place labels 10px above inputs, you must do that consistently across your whole design.

- Learn Color: Color doesn't need to be complex. Understand how colors interact with each other and learn how color can set moods.

I’m looking for easy to comprehend specs around standard design elements: headers, chips, buttons, etc. The iOS UI support material is nearly impossible to understand. I have been thinking about going into UX/UI Design and I wanted to know is it women of color work in this field (if so I would love to connect and learn how to navigate) or is it a male dominated field? Is it worth it to me to transition into this role? How competitive is the industry?

I am product designer with a fair amount of experience (6yrs).

Recently was interviewed for a Sr. role in Booking but unfortunately, the team finds me better suited as a core individual contributor.

I am also in the advanced stages of some lead designer positions in other companies.

However, I am really interested in joining the team at Booking, especially because of the design culture.

What should be my reasons to accept or not accept the offer from booking?
