I totally understand your worries, and I can relate to them. When my cat was a kitten, I'd worry about every single sneeze too. The best way to relieve worry is to accept that some things just can't be controlled, and try to focus on the other positive things - like how healthy and happy the cat looks! Showing compassion helps too - let the owner know that their feelings are valid.
This is so tricky! Like obviously feel very bad for the elderly lady but she's probably projecting all her life's worries onto the cat. I would possibly have a talk with her about the limitations of what your clinic can do and possibly suggest therapy or a resource (maybe a book about cat health?) where she can start to manage some of her worry on her own.
